The Best Restaurants in Chatham, MA
Del Mar Bistro
The best food, menu and staff in town. The only problem? Everyone knows it. In the summer, plan ahead.
The Del Mar is high quality eats - everything from prime cuts of steak, to gourmet seafood, to delicious pizza and dessert. It’s all around the best meal you’ll get in Chatham, hands down.
Bluefins Sushi & Saki
Easily the best sushi in the lower Cape, Bluefins is a must while visiting Chatham. The cape is known for it’s fresh seafood, but that doesn’t mean it always has to be fried. It doesn’t get much better than some sushi with some fish that was caught same day a stone’s throw away.
Bluefins can get busy in the summer, so make a rez if you can. FYI they also have another location in Falmouth.
Mom & Pop’s Burgers
Forget Chatham, this is the best burger joint on Cape Cod. Think Five Guys, but made by … yup, Mom and Pop.
An amazing beer selection, chill little outside area, and one of the best hot chicken sandwiches we’ve ever had - can’t recommend M&P’s enough.
Mac’s Chatham Fish & Lobster
Probably the best all around seafood in Chatham, Mac’s is a no brainer for a casual sit down meal. Everything from fried classics, to blackened fish sandwiches, to full lobster dinners, it doesn’t get fresher than Mac’s.
Don’t be alarmed if there’s a line, you order up front and you’ll get a number, they’ll deliver your meal to your table.

Sweet Tomatoes
Not only the best pizza in Chatham, Sweet Tomatoes is the best pizza on Cape Cod. With locations in Chatham and Yarmouth, their pies are are an ode to the Neapolitan style that made New Haven pizzas famous. If you don’t know what that means - It’s thin pizza, big chunks of tomato, and delicious dough. FYI it’s more of a takeout than sit down situation.
Our only critique … they’re close on Sundays!? I guess even God rests on the 7th day.
Viera On Main
As far as high-end Chatham restaurants go, Viera probably has the most interesting menu. They offer everything from a full raw bar, to a sausage arancini, to a five-spiced duck breast. Their chef and owner was a contestant on Food Network’s Beachside Brawl…so he knows what he’s doing.
They’ve got a large second bar in the back of the restaurant which is a great spot to find a seat on busy Summer nights.
The Corner Store
Another takeout joint, The Corner Store is a Chatham staple. Think Chipotle, but homemade. They’re burritos and bowls are nothing short of fantastic.
Always recommend ordering online ahead in the summer. FYI they have another location in Orleans.

The Impudent Oyster
Right downtown, the Oyster is a cozy upscale restaurant in a former church. Of the higher-end restaurants in Chatham, it’s probably the best bang for your buck. Fish and steak entrees are about as good you’ll find and won’t break $40 (this is Chatham, that’s rare).
Also low key one of the best lunch menus in town.

Hangar B Eatery
Located on Chatham’s Municipal Airpot, watching prop planes takeoff while you eat is fun on it’s own…but the food is damn good too. They’re currently only serving breakfast and lunch, and both are amazing.
It’s a really small restaraunt and is always packed, so expect to wait…at least you can watch some planes while you do.
